She guided me through my Mother's funeral arrangements in such a lovely way.

An excellent caring service .Maria who oversaw the burial of our friend could not have been more caring or considerate. Every detail was thought through to perfection, and we were shown great kindness and compassion at every step of the way. The order of service was wonderful and truly reflected the loves and the foibles of our friend. A remarkably kind and friendly service . Maria our initial contact was amazing. Compassionate and professional through out all of it. She came up with an idea that would give dad that one last blast, with help we pulled it off and the pall bearers well tears are in my eyes now, truly an amazing company. All staff, sorry I forgot the ladies name who did the funeral procession again outstanding! Lyndhurst branch could not do enough to help. Thank you for being there and guiding us through this emotional time.

I can't thank Maria enough for all she did in making the arrangements for my wife's funeral. Maria patiently took me through all the steps involved and helped me with and explained to me all the many aspects leading up to and including the day of the funeral. The funeral itself was perfect with everyone attending saying how wonderful it was to share in the celebration of Lesley's life. Thanks must go to the Sturneys' staff for their professionalism on the day.
Maria is a kind, caring, understanding, empathetic and 'nothing is too much trouble' kind of person. My sister-in-law and myself are particularly extremely grateful to Maria.

A wonderful service. Helen could not do enough & guided me through. She made this very difficult time of losing my partner more bearable.
The florist she arranged was wonderful & the tribute was just as i imagined.
Charlie, who conducted the service made it very personal & it felt like he had known my partner.

Helen at L & J Sturney has been absolutely amazing. My Dad passed away earlier this year and I am very pleased that we chose L & J Sturney in Lyndhurst to arrange the funeral. Helen has been amazing every step of the way. She is compassionate, friendly, warm hearted and it clearly shows that she cares. Helen has been exceptional in fact and very importantly Helen made sure that every detail was tended to and clearly explained. When I wasn't sure which decision to take Helen found a way to gently talk me through the options until I'd figured it out for myself, this is a wonderful way to make sure everything was as my Dad would have wanted. As these matters go Helen and her team made sure everything went smoothly and I would certainly recommend Helen and her team.

Our eldest Sister had passed away.

Helen showed great compassion and understanding. She was very sympathetic and very supportive.

Helen provided a superb funeral, the staff who attended the burial under the guidance of Helen and Sally were equally compassionate, sympathetic and supportive.

The celebrant Julia presented a wonderful farewell to our dear Sister.

Helen has a great understanding of grief and makes the difficult task of saying the final farewell so much easier.
